Koncert Divých makov

"I firmly believe that this joint concert with the Slovak radio captured on this CD is of course not only a beautiful memory but proof that when talent and persistent work come together, despite all the obstacles and hard work, time and energy it shows true meaning.

This CD and concert, which is translated as Wild Poppies is a gift to all Romani children who were selected to take part the this project and for their dedicated work they put into it.The children had the chance to thank the Wild Poppies project and their sponsors for their chance and the support that the children received and which they greatly appreciate.As an artistic director, with my work on this project, I would like to thanks and honor the fact that Wild Poppies exist and perform this demanding and meaningful programme. I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for being able to be part in this.

I hope, and I wish that this CD is an inspiration for other Roma children and Roma youth. In order to be able to represent their Roma culture, their identity, their songs on a professional level and thus prove to themselves that they have an important place in this world.
