ROMANO DROM – International Children’s Camp
The summer children’s workshop is an opportunity for a multicultural meeting with a rich and colourful program for children. This year children’s camp will take place at the Stary Mlyn hotel in Levoča (Slovak Republic), under the guidance of professiobal artists and tutors.
Roma and non-Roma boys and girls will be able to pursue music, dance, theatre, painting, rhythm classes and other activities. We believe that art is an appropriate way to experience ethnics and traditions. The children will also work towards a joint performance for the last evening of the “Romano Drom 2010” project.
The aim of the children’s workshop and camp is to support their creativity, the skill to integrate various cultures, and above all to perceive the Roma culture. This will give the children a source of inspiration and provide them with an experience of a lifetime, together with a moment to remember.
